‘I went through a rough patch recently. I didn’t have any money and couldn’t find a job. But my dad and my father-in-law helped me and my wife get married. People really need to look out for each other because we’re all the same even if we’re all going through our own stories. People can be so self-centered and only take care of themselves. We need to pass it forward by helping others. It meant so much for us to get married…for it to be legal and to share my wedding with another female was awesome. I want to see the end of stereotypes and bashing of gays and lesbians. There’s still so much more to accomplish…we’re all the same, even if we have different preferences and there’s no need to be afraid of that anymore.’
