‘I moved to Utah from California to finish my pediatrician schooling. I still have about two and a half years left. That’s the biggest goal I have right now. It’s about sharing what I’ve learned with other people. The beautiful part of working with children is that, even if they’re afraid or if the parents are afraid, I get to be the person with cheer and the smile and the assurance that everything’s going to be OK. If you show that you’re afraid, they will be, too. If you have hope, so will they…and I think we need more hope in the world no matter what the outcome is.’
