‘A few years ago, I had a bacterial infection in my bloodstream. It got into my spine and I almost died. They couldn’t tell me what it was. There was a Pepsi-Cola driver who was taking a load of sodas off his truck and he wrenched his back. He was in the hospital for the same infection. A woman in her fifties who was taking something off the top shelf in her office also hurt her back and was in for the same thing. I fell and then I got sick and went to the hospital and they found it. I still don’t know what it was and they told me to be careful because it can come back, but how can I be careful if I don’t know what caused it in the first place?
