‘Last year, I was in Sedona, Arizona with my kids and we walked into this little crystal rock shop. We were just looking around when the resident psychic who did readings said to me, ‘Oh my goodness, you are surrounded by people! I need to talk to you!’ Sometimes, I try to be funny so, of course, I said, ‘I know, they’re my kids! They’re supposed to be here.’ She replied, ‘No, no…you’re surrounded by spirits! You have a whole team of spirits with you and they have messages for you so I need to talk to you.’ So, I booked a reading with her. It was $25 dollars for twenty-five minutes and I ended up sitting with her for over an hour and she still only charged me the $25. The first thing that came out of her mouth was, ‘Your mom is here and she wants you to know that she’s really proud of you.’

I never really worried about pride from other people. It just didn’t matter to me. Everything good about me is good to me and that’s enough. If I feel good about what I’m doing, it doesn’t matter what other people think. But I always wanted to hear my mom tell me she was proud of me. She passed when I was eighteen and I always wanted to make her proud. I wanted to be something big and I knew when I was little that I was meant for great things. My mom always told me that my existence would have a major purpose to it and I’m so glad I got to hear that message.’
